The Kenan Institute Asia with support from the Thai Ministry of Industry organize a workshop in "Business Continuity Management" for the Thai SMEs. The objective of this workshop is to help SMEs to have plan to prepare for the unexpected incident that have threat to their business in the future.
New Entrepreneurship Creation Training
K.I.Asia, with financial support from the Department of Industrial Promotion, now open the two business training classes for the Ministry of Industry’s New Entrepreneurs Creation Project. The objectives of the project include creating new entrepreneurs throughout the country, and ensuring that participants have the knowledge and capability to drive entrepreneurship in the future.
Thailand NGO Awards 2012
The Thailand NGO Awards, which help to promote good governance and programmes that create real impacts on development and, in turn, raise the standards of development in Thailand and neighbouring countries, were launched in 2011. The second phase of the program is officially launched in 2012 at the Grand Mercure Fortune Hotel in Bangkok. The opening ceremony of the project chaired by Mr. Piyabutr Cholvijarn, K.I.Asia's Vice Chairman.

Boeing, the world's leading aerospace company, teams up with the Kenan Institute Asia, Thailand’s leading provider of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) services, to initiate the Boeing Technology Enhanced Learning (Boeing TEL) project nationwide. The project has provided ICT training and support for more than 400 teachers in 100 participating schools since 2009.
Citi Extends the Campaign “Women Smart Savings, Smart Spending” into the Fourth Year Providing Financial Literacy Training to the At-Risk Women
Citi together with Kenan Institute Asia (K.I. Asia) continues the “At-Risk Women Financial Literacy” program for the fourth year offering financial training to the women with inconsistent income and unstable occupation. The training provides financial knowledge and fundamentals that allows them to continue the practice in their daily lives.
EDF - NLCF - FDF win Thailand NGO Awards 2012
The Resource Alliance in collaboration with the Kenan Institute Asia and supported by the Rockefeller Foundation organized the 2012 Thailand NGO Awards, the second consecutive year, to recognize the achievements of Thai NGOs. The winners for 2012 are; the Education for Development Foundation (EDF) winning the NGO Award for large size category, The New Life Center Foundation for the medium sized category and the Folk Doctor Foundation as the winner for the small size category.
Microsoft (Thailand) Limited, Department of Skill Development and Kenan Institute Asia continue 4th year skills boosting initiative
Microsoft Thailand, the Department of Skill Development, and Kenan Institute Asia announced the continuation of the “Building Employability through Technology and Entrepreneurship Resources” project (BETTER), which has taught IT skills to some 35,000 participants, with an additional 2,800 benefiting from the project’s online component.
Citi Foundation continues to further develop its project “Teacher’s Money Sense Project”
“Teacher’s Money Sense Project” is a collaborative project between Citi Foundation by Citibank (Thailand) and Kenan Institute Asia which aims at providing financial management skills to low-income governmental teachers who serve as the backbone in transferring personal financial management knowledge that is in line with the concept of sufficiency economy and economics for lower secondary education to their students. In the pilot phase, the project covered schools in Nonthaburi, Nakornnayok and Cholburi
Chevron with three leading good cause organizations launch “The Power of Human Energy”
Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. launches “The Power of Human Energy,” a CSR campaign that aims to tackle social issues in Thai communities. The campaign, this year, is a partnership with three leading non-governmental, social-development organizations; Kenan Institute Asia (K.I.Asia), PATH Thailand, and Pact Thailand. The four organizations will work together to promote inquiry-based science teaching, educate parents on ways to openly and positively communicate with children, empower and provide skills and job opportunities for vulnerable youth.
