Education and Youth Development Programs

Development in Asia has been limited by the ability of education systems to produce versatile, knowledgeable and creative graduates. Kenan Institute Asia believes that the potential of youth to contribute to social and economic development is great. In order to contribute sustainable development, today's youth need to be equipped with technical and business knowledge, creative thinking skills and the social and environmental awareness. To ensure that education and training are relevant to these needs, K.I.Asia facilitates collaboration among families, schools, school districts, community leaders, local governments and the private sector.

Kenan Institute Asia's programs incorporate learning principles that are child-centered, participatory and inquiry-based.  Starting with the American Corporations for Thailand program, We have been implementing developing youth since 1998 with significant support from USAID, Thai government agencies, Chevron, AIA, American Express, Dow Chemical, Microsoft, GE Money, and MSD Thailand.
